Situated in East Tamaki, Stoprust and Towbars was first established in 1988 as a family business specialising in rustproofing vehicles.
Since 1997 we have continued to add other aftermarket vehicle accessories including towbars, canopies, roof racks, ute liners, bullbars, sports bars and custom built truck towbars.
We only stock, install and recommend industry proven leading brands of which most are manufactured in New Zealand.
What makes us different and we’re proud to say so is our mobile fitting. Over the years we have perfected our fitting times and we can bring this service directly to your door.
Almost every product that we supply can be fitted on-site in the greater Auckland region, from as far north as Albany down to Pokeno in the South.
We can also rustproof larger machinery and heavy transport if required on site.
Stoprust and Towbars have recently expanded into reverse sensors and back up cameras for most makes and models.
We can fit at our premises or yours, with our mobile workshop.
